  when we put the fellings and whims of a few disgruntled "active" jehovah's witnesses who come to these boards before the intense feelings, thoughtful commentary or adult playfulness of the majority of posters here - ex witnesses, so-called apostates, etc.

  So incense, you want your account deleted because you are offended. How about the emotional readers who are afraid to register and express their thoughts? How much more affected are they? Do you understand? Think about what you just did. You asked to be deactivated because of freedom of expression, yet you say freedom of expression is not immoral, and nuts to the lurkers was your point of view. As I wrote on the other thread, yes, sometimes freedom of expression is immoral.

  I&P, I too hope you don't go. But I also have to say that Society does censor us and sometimes, it is needed. Posting child porn is a good example as well as calling Blacks by the "N" word. Like I said, it is not so much about being concerned about some active JWs but that we are guests in anothers forum. Very little actually offends me, but a request was made by our host. It matters not when, why or for what reason it was made. The fact is, it was made.

  I have been offended, as hard as that is to do, here and felt like leaving too. But, there is much to be learned here and much to share with each other. If naked pictures of each other are wanted, then why not just email them? You are not being denied any freedom, just being asked to be considerate.

  With that, I ask you again to stay and share your thoughts with all of us. You too are a very needed addition to the forum.

  The problem I had, Dakota, was that no such request WAS made. We would have respected it if it was. Thread was chugging along fine with no imput from Simon. Suddenly 'Hey, wait a minute', then, like 3 minutes later [LOCK].
