    other times civil authorities.

    "Living in the last days"--Armageddon is always just around the corner.

    "Great crowd"--earthly paradise bound (numerous).
    "Anointed"--heaven bound (only 144,000).

    "Torture stake"--implement of Christ's death per Jws as opposed to
    Cross by most others.

    "Parousia"--invisible presence of Christ as opposed to visible second
    coming of Christ.

    Et Cetera.

    "Undeserved kindness."

    Now that I'm out that one really gets me. It is an absolute corruption of the Greek word for "Grace." And it always seems to be used in connection with selling more magazines or something. Like God did us a favor so now we owe him one back.

    The one I remember hearing as much as "the truth", was "the organization". Now to me. that term sounds good for the Mafia, but not for a religion.

    In the literature, the phrases: doubtless, no doubt, or without a doubt, were usually associated with specualation and guesses. Many of the old statements with these terms in them, look pretty silly today.
