Hi! This is my first post here. This forum has really
helped in my break from the organization.

I was reading a post from the WOL board posted about the
Special Assembly Day program. Here it is:

"Í am not sure how many of you have attended your SDA.
We just had ours with 2,400 in attendance and 13
baptized. This SDA emphasizes unmistakbly the need for
every Christian to grow up and mature so that they can
use their perceptive powers to defend themselves against
an evil world where people's every inclination of their heart
    is towards evil."
    The URL is: http://www.witnessesonline.com/ubb/Forum6/HTML/000016.html

They certainly do encourage a positive view of one's
fellow man. Reading words like that make me so glad my wife and I finally saw the light. Excuse me now while I get back to my EVIL
    thoughts.

    Deludenomore,
NO bring those evil thoughts back over here! Can't you tell this board is full of evil thoughts? I can see more love and basic human kindness on this board than any other board on the net.
So come wallow with us for awhile we love to hear all kinds of input!

    Hello NoMore,

defend themselves against an evil world where people's every inclination of their heart is towards evil."

    Ah, that would explain:

    American Red Cross
    Salvation Army
    Goodwill
    Any and all soup kitchens
    Rape Crisis Centers
    Outreach Programs
    Welfare Programs
    Wellchild programs
    Social Workers
    The Conservatory
    Many conservation Groups
    SPCA
    Orphanages
    Little Sisters of the Poor
    Farm Aid
    Headstart
    Libraries, for pete's sake!

Perhaps others could add to this list of obviously evil-hearted inclined persons running evil organizations. Not saying that mistakes aren't made, some organizations aren't what they portray. But it would be just as stupid and ignorant to say that all organizations are evil, money-grubbing, political machines. And all people are evil-hearted inclined is just a plain ignorant statement.

Any others to add to this list?

Btw, Nice to meet you. Welcome.

Do you have a hotmail a/c yet? any clues as to where you are from?

My last assembley was very memorable also, take a look at the thread 'Who's fault is it?'

    Hope that you stick around.
