Most of the elders I knew were arrogant, egomaniac dickheads who coveted power and control over others like Aquagirl states. ( I second her comment ) Including my own JW elder dad. He's still that way. One reason I would never have served well with these guys if I had been appointed an elder. I probably would have called them out on their $hit and got deleted. Oh well . I've chosen a better path. LOL
