Yes good point, I was thinking lately how this is all inter-relating to their "Gog" "new light" as well.
I think the overall objective of the "Annual Meeting" is twofold. 1. Don't check prophecy for details, and 2. Setting up the JW perception for the coming global "attack" scenario on the Bethel corporations to align Bethel's next hoax " King North" with " Gog of Magog" as the same assumed entity. Though they only alluded to it as a question, the question is posed for JWs to start to make the connection prior to final revelation of "who" is attacking the Bethel corporations globally. They are finalizing their diversion, imo.
It is an adjusted smokescreen that now aligns another prophecy, the "Gog of Magog" prophecy that JWs are primed to expect, also way too prematurely in "Gog of Magog", now connected to their classic " USSR" is " King North" error "loose end". Thus they are setting up the perception and merging two JW prophetic premature expectations into one entity, and to JWs misled by this, that is amping up the final scenario hoax potential. As a speculation, that could be revisited with Russia as the center of a new national bloc system "bogey man", and the value of the hoax will be complete in a deep way in that connection to the USSR error already fully ironed into the JW brain.
How ever they play off "King North+Gog" in time, as seems to be the intent, it will be a diversion from who is really deconstructing the Bethel system, aided by Bethel's own "self fulfilling prophecy" to create the heavy smokescreen for the full operation, and it will also aid the exit plan of the Bethel billions to go as smoothly as possible.
Then to finish the agenda the Annual Meeting they basically said overall:
1. We are NOT the "evil slave", because there is no "evil slave" after all everyone!
(This is because Bethel is an "evil slave" principle in action)
2. Do not use types to try to reveal the Bethel apostasy!
3. Do not look too deeply into prophecy or parables for deeper or repeating principle meanings.
(and those are because the repeating principle of Bethel and its leadership corruption is all over prophecy and parables, thus a second JW lobotomy is being required)
Obviously all those things inter-relate because Bethel's classic apostasy is in the principles, and the Devil is in the details, and they just want to keep the trap as well camouflaged prior to the real "game day" they are preparing JWs for: The end of the Bethel corporate system, sold to JWs as "the end of the world", that is the basic setup at work at Bethel, imo.
Thus the world system continues on, JWs are derailed, the ministry is ruined and called off, and JWs will be left with a riddle for some years, because it never was "the end of the world", it was the end of the Bethel apostasy that opened the door for corporate takeover under the veneer of a "model JW" act that was easy to assume internally and in the top leadership in the GB, the shadow board, and the WTS (as well as throughout the whole hierarchy, factionally, down into the congregations).
These are just some final plausible denials and "smooth word" rationale (Dan11:32a) to keep asleep JWs off the real trail, a lullaby from Bethel. There is too much design into the whole override since 1990, and 1976 in the GB coup, to just be random hypocrisy.
Thus expect more soon on the "Gog" and fake "King North" final JW decoy period, and into that period, imo, is when Bethel's actual takeover will go full bore for a couple years, but that will be sold to JWs as the overall "the end", and JWs will be in actually a hoax to cover the coup that has been developing since 1976 and the GB "experiment", merely completing the real mission.
That is my speculation on the overall objective of this last Annual Meeting operation of more and more error and the reinforcing of positioned JW delusions that will aid the process of corporate dissolution that is coming, with that handy delusion applied to becoming a JW hoax.
