It is all tied to the fantasy of 1914; which cannot be proved from history OR the Bible
In addition, I've simplified the entire thing when people ask or I ask a JW who is teetering:
"Faithful and Discreet Slave......is that a parable/illustration or a prophecy"
After they answer...... have them read Luke 12:41 and ask "what did the Apostle Peter call it?"
You will get either a look of nausea or denial.

Now I'm finally listening to my doubts, I'm thinking, how did I ever swallow this?
from what I remember most of the 3 times we studied revelation book, i marveled at the crazy psychedelic pictures and wondered what buscuits we would get at the end of the study. Now I'm in a midlife crisis and finally decide to scrutinize things a bit closer, it's not adding up!
