Golly gee wiz only local media cover for this.

I like the way the media describes it.

Mr. Taylor wasn’t black — he’s been described as white and Hispanic — and the
officer who shot him Aug. 11 outside a 7-Eleven in South Salt Lake wasn’t white.

    Race bias ???

    Naaaaaah can't be !!!!!

Did the officer stand over the prone person and pump 6-10 rounds into him.

    Not that I know of.

    Why do you ask?

Details matter. I know few whites who would include Latinos as white. The entire point of using Latino is to signal the native American blood. We don't have a history of Latino slavery in this country. Why certain events make the news and others are ignored is beyond me. When you consider the size of this country, such encounters must be routine. Details matter.

Those are the cases that show excessive force and possible criminal activity on an officer's part, profiling, hate crime etc...

Designs, I thought you were trying to compare the two cases,

but I guess you are just descibing what police criminal activity is.

    Thanks.

Yes, any officer, regardless of their ethnicity, can break the law.

The officer who shot him, "wasn't white". Why didn't they just say, "the officer who shot him was black"?

And if Obama had a son, he would have been the officer.
