    Do jehovah's witnesses actually hate?

    You decide.

    Hatred (JWFacts)

The direction given in the Watchtower goes strongly against Christian examples when demanding members hate an apostate.

"The obligation to hate lawlessness also applies to all activity by apostates. Our attitude toward apostates should be that of David, who declared: Do I not hate those who are intensely hating you" Watchtower 1992 Jul 15 pp.12-13 Christ Hated Lawlessness Do You?
"Apostasy is, in reality, a rebellion against Jehovah. Some apostates profess to know and serve God, but they reject teachings or requirements set out in his Word. Others claim to believe the Bible, but they reject Jehovah's organization and actively try to hinder its work. When they deliberately choose such badness after knowing what is right, when the bad becomes so ingrained that it is an inseparable part of their makeup, then a Christian must hate (in the Biblical sense of the word) those who have inseparably attached themselves to the badness. True Christians share Jehovah's feelings toward such apostates; they are not curious about apostate ideas. On the contrary, they "feel a loathing" toward those who have made themselves God's enemies, but they leave it to Jehovah to execute vengeance."Watchtower 1993 Oct 1 p.19
"Haters of God and his people are to be hated, but this does not mean that we will take any opportunity of bringing physical hurt to them in a spirit of malice or spite, for both malice and spite belong to the Devil, whereas pure hatred does not. We must hate in the truest sense, which is to regard with extreme and active aversion, to consider as loathsome, odious, filthy, to detest. Surely any haters of God are not fit to live on his beautiful earth. The earth will be rid of the wicked and we shall not need to lift a finger to cause physical harm to come to them, for God will attend to that, but we must have a proper perspective of these enemies. His name signifies recompense to the enemies." Watchtower 1952 Oct 1 p.599

J esus and Paul both said we should not hate but rather love our enemies. This was to apply even when someone is attacking our faith and practice.

The watchtower organization is just SICK!

What is a Hate- or Bias-Motivated Incident?

A "hate- or bias-motivated act" is any incident in which an action taken by a person or group is perceived to be malicious (hate) or discriminatory (bias) toward another person or group based on such characteristics as race, color, socioeconomic class, religion, national origin, ancestry, age, mental or physical disability, sexual orientation, gender, or gender identity or any situation in which inter-group tensions exist based on such group characteristics. Hate and bias acts may be violations of criminal law, such as "hate crimes," or violations of civil law, such as unlawful discrimination in employment, housing, education or public accommodations. All hate crimes are considered hate and bias incidents, but not all bias incidents are considered hate crimes."

When court cases are eventually brought against them for "hate crimes" the evidence will be right from their own publications. They just haven't figured it out yet that anything you put in writing is "forever" now. They got so comfortable with being able to re-write history that they haven't adjusted to the new Century.

Interesting that they have to revert to the Old Testament to justify this isnt it? The New Testament says you are to love your enemies and those who persecute you. Jesus even prayed for his executioners. How far they miss the mark from true Christianity. Ray Franz's book In Search Of Christian Freedom is amazing. (and I am not even a believer in Christianity)

(Psalm 139:21, 22) 21 Do I not hate those who are intensely hating you, O Jehovah, And do I not feel a loathing for those revolting against you? 22 With a complete hatred I do hate them. They have become to me real enemies.

*** it-2 p. 279 Love *** Those who intensely hate the true God are not persons toward whom love is to be expressed. Indeed, it would accomplish no good to continue exercising love toward such ones, for those who hate God will not respond to God’s love. (Ps 139:21, 22; Isa 26:10) Therefore God properly hates them and has a time to act against them.—Ps 21:8, 9; Ec 3:1, 8.

So it would appear that Jesus and God are in massive dissagreement then. Jesus tells us to love everyone including all our enemies.. and the rest of the Bible tell us to hate them..

    What a mess.

The GB has never promoted Jesus' teachings or example. (Do they even share The Greatest Man book any more?)

They promote their version of "jehovah" because it works for their purposes. So sure, they teach HATE. And then they point to their fictitious god as an example.

    They are disgusting.

Of course JWs hate, but when they hate best they call it LOVE. It's a so much nicer word.
