Various studies from archeology have yet to prove that Temple of Solomon existed. There is no evidence of existence of David. Jewish and Catholic archeologists past 120-140 years try to find one single proof that temple existed at time when OT said it did.

I`m fast coming to the conclusion , doing my own personal research, that probably only a fraction of the bible characters mentioned ever existed and they never performed the deeds attributed to them , and neither can many of the historical events recorded in the bible can be verified by either by secular history or archaelogy .
