But they aren't real.
Real friends don't behave this way. They don't abandon you because you had a change of heart. If any of them were real friends, they wouldn't have abandoned you regardless.

I'm enjoying a couple of drinks and a fine cigar. I dunno I'm not an educated person but this feels like paradise to me.
Your doing what you want to do , enjoying the freedom that comes from not following some old geezers in Head Office telling you what to do and how to act.
