The book of Enoch taught women magic, the art of war
and cosmetic..They felt this book was too far out in left field.

So happy they omitted that book, otherwise women would
be leaders of the militaries. Thinking about it, it may not be
such a bad idea. LOL
If it were included, it would just be another book like Genesis that is so ridiculous that it drives people away.
Take for instance the Nephilim. Depending on translation, they are either 3000 ells or 300 cubits. Which is either 4500 feet tall or 450 feet tall. First of all it is physically impossible for anything shaped like a human to be that tall. Check out the square cube problem.
Second, could you imagine a human woman carrying an infant to term that is 75 to 750 times larger than a human infant. Couldn't happen.

It depends on whose Bible you're talking about. Enoch follows the pentatuch in the Ethiopian Orthodox Bible.

Because it was unlikely to have been written by Enoch. It would have had to survive the ark, flood, and down through the patriarchs and the Egyptian enslavement.
Enoch didn't die, he was taken to a special place Gen:5;23,24.
He was the only one to sit with God and reveal information to
humamity...Secret knowledge from God...

Revelation is as outrageous as the book of Enoch. LOL
Because the stories were designed for a Jewish Mystical audiance. It needs to be noted that the writer of Jude (Second Centery CE) quote a verse from the book.
Revelation's cosmology is based on the Book of Enoch.
