They live in hope the illusive 'armageddon(tm)' is on it's way........peace or war, calm or storm, they interpret it all as a sign.
They're desparate for 'paradise(tm)'.....................sorry to tell the JW's it aint coming...........you've been scammed.
Believing this is what gives meaning to their belief system. It serves two purposes:
First, it enforces the idea that they have the truth, because they are the only ones living up to the standard of goodness that they themselves have set.
And second, it justifies the mass genocide their God will commit in the future, and the delight that most of them derive from it.
