Is the Centenary Campaign in August 2014 really for the public?

they're trying to make jw.org the most visited website so they have something to brag about in the wt/awake magazines. they'll say it's proof of jehovah's backing when really it was because they just told every jw to spend a whole month sending people to it.

WT needs to do something about "100 years since 1914". JWs will start to think and could become "spiritually weak" if there wasn't a campaign to keep them busy.

This is typical cult actions. Keeping the members busy with rituals. Prayer. meetings, study and field service are the rituals. All JWs tire of them, but many mambers are compelled to take part in these rituals as they believe God wants them to and they believe God will provide.

This is truly a dangerous cult that stops independent thinking by information control and rituals.

!!! It's busy work. Nothing more. The WTBTS is a desperate group, desperately trying to keep the members from awakening to TTATT.

SILLY DUBBIES!!! FIELD CIRCUS IS FOR DUBS!!!

truthseeker: This is not really for the public. It is to keep the JW's busy, not thinking about why 100 years has gone by with no end in sight, but to buoy up flagging enthusiasm.

    Bingo!

You've got it exactly right. The public doesn't know and doesn't care.

The new tract is to be distributed to publishers at the meeting for the week starting June 9. It won't be "special" to them anymore by August.

I wonder if it will be in the new format of recent tracts? I liked the older tracts better.
