Yup. That about sums it up. So much I wanted to do but wasn't allowed to...................it was hell. I'd see my friends from school going out and enjoying life and I was stuck in my room at home. I used to read, draw, paint or compose songs. I enjoyed reading stuff by Kafka, Lennon among others. I had a taste for the arty side........sadly I only got the watchtower's(R) old farty side. Life was lonely as there were no JWs my age that I considered normal, it was absolute sh1t in the cult.
I remember writing poetry and my Mum said I should stop as I was looking too deeply into my own mind. Poor old Mum, bless her, deluded by the cult.
