As stated by someone else, your time with your children is YOURS. I would find out what the kids like to do for enjoyment and do various activities with them to crowd out "KH tine." You could let them take turns deciding what to do during their visit. The kids will remember how you made them FEEL, not so much what you said. If you want happy, well-adjusted children, you need to provide an atmosphere that fosters self-esteem and the ability to make appropriate choices, NOT the blind obedience of the WT.

You might want to talk to their teachers and other adults in their lives and explain the situation. You might also want to talk to a child development person about how to combat the blind obedience notion they are learning and the right strategies to teach them not to hurt or condemn others because they're not JW's.

    Good luck!

People here don't understand how law works. Well, I should say the law I see. A lawyer keeps you out of court. It is their primary function. Going to court or starting a law suit is only used as a last resort. I've never had a lawyer raise his/her voice in conversation(s) with outside parties. When I go shopping, I want to meet with them to check their manners and social skills. Clients appreciate having no ambiguities.

What people see on TV or films is dramatized law. Of course, one need not have a lawyer. I believe such a choice is extremely foolish, esp. when children are involved. These stereotypes about lawyers will be the death of the profession. A lay person does not know the subject area, local circumstances, etc. Someone who sees hundreds or thousands of situations develops a certain instinctive feel. I don't want a local surgeon who has done about 25 procedures. Someone who has done large a volume of surgeries develops a skill that is valuable.

Wealthy people do not hesitate for one minute to call the family trust's lawyers. I am talking about consulting a specialist in child custody arrangements. Sigh.

Hi Apostating, Always do something fun with your kids on the weekends that you have them so they will not want to go to meetings and help your children to critically think for themselves. If your ex-wife wants to take them to the meetings, tell your ex-wife to go to a congregation with meeting times at 4:00 PM or after.

If you want to be mean to your ex-wife, give your kids sugary treats right before they leave so that they have plenty of energy for the meetings. LOL

Peace be with you and everyone, who you love,

    Robert

OMG. The sugary high fiends. What a way to save on legal bills.

There was a store in Greenwich Village that had a sign up that said unattended children would be sold as slaves or receive gifts of a litter of puppies.
