Let me guess: There will be a UN sub-committee on the development of a committee to determine the committee which will form a delegation to interrogate a bishop of some god-forsaken backwater about child abuse.
The UN sub-committee's delegation will issue a strongly-worded condemnation of child abuse, the bishiop will agree it is an abomination, and everyone will go out for a pizza afterward.
That's pretty much how "the wild beast attacking the harlot" will go down.
I was just a kid then. One page had a red picture of a seven-headed lion with a sultry woman sitting upon it drinking from a glass of blood. The book declared that she was a harlot and represented the churches, who were drunk with the blood of the chosen ones. Apparently a harlot was supposed to be an unclean woman, but she looked pretty clean to me, wore a nice dress and had combed hair. The new book explained what must be done in order to be spared when the harlot was destroyed.

OH yes they did mention the U.N. by name and illustration in their earlier literature as or at least, part of the wild beast. Anyhow how hypocritical of the j dubs if they determine this investigation by the U.N. into child abuse concerning the catholic church ie [handling of] as the wild beast U.N. turning on the harlot christendom instead of seeing it as it actually is PROTECTION of innocent children. Of course we all know the jw society's record on that!!! HYPOCRITES!!!!!

This isn't the UN turning on religion. It's no attack on being catholic or catholic beliefs or the bible. It's on religion not able to get away with criminal activity.
If any religion would get banned/attacked first it would be islam/muslim. The majority of those people are good, but their extremists are the main religions that kill in the name of it. However I think banning it would be unlikely, look at what a small percentage does, if they attempted to ban it, imagine if most/all became that way.

I remember all those scary pictures of wild beasts and the harlot drinking blood and all the rest of the imagery. And you wonder why born in's have many issues? F**king evil Cult! And their Bullsh*t Armageddon scare tactic's!
The Watchtower Society's understanding of the Revelation is claimed to come directly from Jehovah God. They claim that the United Nations will turn on and destroy all religions in the world, except Jehovah's Witnesses. This is symbolized by the wild beast turning on the harlot and ripping her to pieces. The original Society first predicted that this massacre would take place in 1918 and expressed disappointment when their prophecy failed. Then in 1991, just prior to their becoming United Nations associates, the Society published a rather ambiguous article, which said in part:
Jehovah's Witnesses firmly believe that the United Nations is going to play a major role in world events in the very near future. No doubt these developments will be very exciting. And the results will have a far-reaching impact on your life. We urge you to ask Jehovah's Witnesses in your neighbourhood for more details on this matter. The Bible clearly paints a picture showing that the United Nations will very shortly be given power and authority. The UN will then do some very astonishing things that may well amaze you. And you will be thrilled to learn that there is yet a better way near at hand that will surely bring eternal peace and security! Awake!September 1991 - page 8
The article gave the impression that the Society was privy to specialist information about the United Nations plans, when in fact their prediction was based on their understanding of Revelation. The promise of peace and security can be taken to refer to the United Nations and their efforts towards world peace, or the Society’s expectation for world peace. That involves the destruction of the United Nations during the battle of Armageddon.
Again in 1995 the Society praised the noble efforts of the UN:

Jehovah’s Witnesses view the United Nations organization as they do other governmental bodies of the world. They acknowledge that the United Nations continues to exist by Gods permission. In harmony with the Bible, Jehovah’s Witnesses render due respect to all governments and obey them as long as such obedience does not require that they sin against God.
