The society teaches that since around 1919 the anointed who have died and do die, are resurrected as spirit creatures.

The only one to be resurrected as a spirit that is documented in the bible is Jesus.

When Jesus was resurrected, did he appear to his disciples yet his body was still buried?

If the resurrection will follow in the same pattern as Jesus, then doesn't it make sense that if the anointed or any who die have been resurrected yet, their body would have vanished?

Such speculation is all total nonsense. Jesus is DEAD!!! Time to acknowledge that fact.....after all it's 2014, folks. Nobody is going to be 'resurrected', either.

No, he appeared in his body. The tomb was verifiably empty. He only had one body.

    Yes

For believers, "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord". At death, the believer's soul is taken to heaven. At the rapture, the resurrection takes place and NT believers are united with their bodies..... glorified bodies, incorruptible. If alive on earth at that time, they are simply taken to heaven body and all, but changed.

What puzzles me Perry is how they didn't know his face, they had to see the holes in his hand. Why didn't his body w/ the holes look the same?

The concept of anointed isnt even in the bible...

When jesus sat down at that table and they all had the bread and wine, nobody was anointed. WT doctrine says anointing started in pentecst 33ce.

End of mysteries, you are aware the gospels were written decades after jesus died?

Are you aware that the story of gods son dying on earth, being ressurected after 3 days and appearing as a spirit is not unique to the bible or the chatachter jesus ?

That story is far older and belongs to egyptian and babylonian gods sons too! They all walked on water, had 12 followers, were born below the bread of heaven (a star, pronounced beth-lehem) all had virgin mothers etc etc etc

The 3 day ressurection thing has a historical genesis in the sun's orbit, in winter months we have 3 days of less sunlight, only for it to return on the third day..... 25th december. I haven't read this stuff for some time, but do go check, it is all fascinating. Apologies if I have mixed up a couple of facts.

He had a "glorified" body when resurrected. He could apparently walk through walls and just appear. Same body, new powers. Not Spirit. If he didn't want someone to recognise him, he could easily change their perception, not necessarily his body. And they did recognise him and touch him, and eat with him.

.....and he rode a unicorn that shat out rainbows, and he had a magic sack that spat out wonder juice, he could also fly and talk to animals, some even say he could complete Donkey Kong with one quarter....
