Preterists and Fulfilled Eschatology is a great idea. You just have to ignore about 780 prophecies to make it work.

Are you really saying that what happened in the first century, to Jerusalem, was the worst thing that had ever happened up to that time or up to the present? It was horrendously horrible, no doubt, but we have World Wars I and II, not to mention the War of 1861. And if nuclear devices begin going off or that Yellowstone caldera blows, things may change. Heck, if the last one happens, they'll see it in Jerusalem.

Not to mention what happened to Jerusalem in 135 AD after III Jewish War or after I. Crusade. Either way, the majority of the Jews in 1st century AD did not see any major sign or indication that the Messiah had arrived. Jews do not believe that Jesus was Messiah and they do not see any fullfilment of it to be related to destruction of the temple in 70AD. Additionally after 70AD, Jews were not thoroughly persecuted throughout the Roman Empire. But after 135 AD, they were not only forbidden to enter Jerusalem, but also their religion was outlawed and many of the Jewish inteligentsia that had no whatsoever relationship to the event of the III Jewish war was decimated by imperial decree. Also many Jews lost Roman citizenship privilege and were sold into slavery.

Yes it is plain to see that he was talking to those 1st cnetury believers and they all fully expected and waited for the fulfillment. It came to pass just as The Messiah said it would. Those who do not want to enter in to Christ and claim it is to come are those with an enotional, physcological conditioning to follow teachings of men rather than listen to Their Messiah.I encourage you to enter in by surrendering to Christ only. and you will be set free form the soup mix of teachings by man and enter into his rest forever without fear of death coming upon you. It was all aboutThe Fatherending alll his civenants with Israel because they rejected his son. They were warned hundreds of years in advance what would happen and were offered a way out if they entered into Christ.Agian The Messiah said "one genreation" "the fullfillment ofall things"etc etc . The end of the old covenant to usher in a new spiritual covenant in which all could enter Jews, gemtiles and peoples of every tribe nation and tongue. We can either stand outside the gates watching those who enter in. Many of you will not because of your emotional attachment to the world which includeds churches, religion etc.

So then what scriptures do you use to support the idea that every thing since then is all spiritual and only spiritual. And that if we enter into christ the way you say then when one dies does he go to heaven or is he still dead waiting for the reserection?????

The GT and the big A are worthy topics IMHO.

What I am sure about is that the apostate Watchtower organisation and hierarchy are totally blind to the spiritual dimensions involved.

They are waiting for a singular physical event at a point in the future.

It is quite likely not singular, not an event, not physical, and not in the future.

Could the big A be the longstanding spiritual battle between religion and its nemesis the "unabridged gospel" (or full "Good News")?

At any rate the Watchtower's poisonous fruits (stealing the faith and spirituality of millions, by severely truncating the gospel) prove it is on the side of the "god of religion", and not the "God of Abraham".

It must all be fullfilled because Messiah said all these things would come upon one generation another clue is that the great tirbulation was a one timeevent never to be seen again according to Messiah on the basis of his words i stand by the fulfillment of all things. He told those standing right in front of him, , those looking into his eyes as he said it, that some of them would STILL be alive when he returned, also they would not finish going through all of Israel before he came back in his KIngdom. All fulfilled . All those prohecies were about the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple in 70AD. The JewS TODAY STILL commemorate the destruction of jerusalemand the tempel in 70AD. It is an historical fact that it happened. Just as Messiah said it would some 40 years previously.

Macca, are you aware that Jews also consider destruction of Judea in 135AD?

Yes but the jews have goen through many tribulations since 70AD and before .This 1st century event was for aspecific purpose and which included all Messiah was to accomplish for the father. It was the ending of the Old Fleshly Covenant and bringing in the New SPiritual covenant which is eternal and since that time there is no need of any fleshly representation of The Kingdom. We can all enter in through the door which is never shut. If the Jews having seen the fulfillment of those prohecies in that 1st century still reject Messiah then that is thier choice.
