Of course we were all shamed for not having enough faith in God's spirit directed organization, the elder arrangement, the F&DS ....Blah, Blah, Blah.

But what else is there? .....Another organization, Faith in Jehovah, Faith in Jesus, Faith in the Bible? What precisely is the PRIMARY Object of Faith for a Christian?

BLOOD - that is the object of faith for a biblical, historical, first century kind of Christian.....that's it.

"God presented him as an offering for propitiation through faith in his blood..... forgiving the sins that occurred in the past" - Romans 3: 25 (NWT)

If a person believes that Jesus' Blood Covenant will make him White like snow before a righteous and Holy God who expects the same, then it will. If he don't, it won't. If someone claims to put faith in that blood, then he won't let anyone talk him out of being obedient to Jesus when he said:

And taking a cup, he offered thanks and gave it to them, saying: “Drink out of it, all of you, for this means my ‘blood of the covenant,’which is to be poured out in behalf of many for forgiveness of sins. Mt 26: 27 (NWT)

And, he won't try to add anything to it either..... like faith in a particular church or organization as an additional requirement. "It is finished" , says Jesus.

You can't have it Both Ways Mr. Anonymous Watchtower writer!

(1 Peter 1:8, 9 NWT) . . .Though YOU are not looking upon him at present, yet YOU exercise faith in him and are greatly rejoicing with an unspeakable and glorified joy, 9 as YOU receive the end of YOUR faith, the salvation of YOUR souls. (Other translations here.)

(This came to mind with your question above.)

Yes, a person. Jesus' blood is part of his personage. There is no conflict there. The scripture citation above just narrows down exactly what about that person is the object of faith for a Christian. You can't say you accept Jesus but not his blood covenant and expect your condition to change. This is where the WT goes too far South and promotes self-liberation by their "growing to perfection" doctrine.

    About Human Sacrifice:

Every man and woman who has ever lived has been a victim of human sacrice. Man is incapable of self-liberation by any means. "The wages of sin is death, but the gift God gives is everlasting life by Christ Jesus our Lord". (NWT) Christ's blood pays this debt vicariously, if we accept it.

God puts an end to Human Sacrifice. We were created for His enjoyment, his pleasure, his family, his love and his Life to be within us, as it is within him.

What has this thread got to do with late term abortions Perry?

We are discussing vicarious blood sacrifice.

Ancient cultures killed sacrificial victims and held their beating hearts up to the sky hoping to appease a wrathful god.

The OT Israelites killed animals and poured out their blood on the altar as a vicarious sacrifice hoping to appease god's wrath.

Early christians interpreted Jesus death in the same way. According to Paul it was the sight of Jesus' blood on the cross that appeased the wrath of god.

How many pregnant women did God-Jesus drown at the Flood....

You do realize that the Pauline passage you quote from Romans is the primary reason we know Paul's messiah was not the Jewish Messiah. The Jewish-Christians back then considered Paul an apostate.

    Carry on
