I have a legal TRUST and want to change the blood option, any ideas?!

    I suggest you get qualified legal help...nothing wrong in consolidating your wishes in writing before going.

    You may want to take a good read of all the documents you have. Issues like blood are usually not addressed in a trust instrument. Usually this is addressed in what is known as a "durable power of attorney," or in some states, an "advance directive." It is my understanding that neither a durable power of attorney or an advance directive require spousal consent/signature.

    I join the others in urging you to go consult with a non-JW lawyer about this.

    Please when you do go, get copies of your documents. Make certain you understand what the lawyer tells you. It doesn't matter how rushed the lawyer may appear. Ask questions until you understand. This is serious business. When you return home, place the documents in a special place. You should always know where they are.
