In what could be a major breakthrough in Physics and how we understand reality. Scientists at the CERN lab recorded neutrinos traveling faster than the speed of light. The Telegragh ran the story www.telegragh.co.uk

Albert Einstein, 1905, theorized that nothing could travel faster than the speed of light in a vacuum.

A team of American and Japanese scientists have checked and rechecked their results and so far no errors have been discovered.

How will it change science going forward. How will it encourage more young people to study the sciences.

So awesome. One step closer to Carl Sagans vision of space travel.

"nothing could travel faster than the speed of light in a vacuum."

It's just a matter of finding the right "nothing". Quantum physics continues to discover the rules.

Link not working for me. Is this not old news and the result was due to faulty instrumentation?
