The brochure uses the expression "Dress up" for meetings.
Dictionary.com gives one of the the meanings as
"to come into line, as troops"
Interesting....... especially in my congregation the TMS oveerseer
would not be out of place on a military parade ground.

They wish to hide whatever attractive features people have. This is accomplished by making people dress in frumpy clothing that serves no other purpose other than to stifle sexuality. As for causing divisions, there is no better way than having half the congregation dressing so they will be too hot and the other half so they will be freezing. You want "modesty(??)"? Just lower the damn temperature. It is much harder to show up naked, or in a skimpy bathing suit, if the temperature in the building is around 12-15 o than at around 28 or 30. Those who are so-called "immodest" will freeze if it is chilly. If it is hot, those who are insistent on hiding their assets will roast.
Aside from that joke-hova wants us uncomfortable, there is no reason for this. In Satan, you dress to be attractive. If that means wearing nothing, or so-called skimpy clothing, so be it. If it means wearing fine quality casual clothing, you wear fine quality casual clothing. You would be better off wearing shorts, or jeans, in good condition than wearing a suit that is in lousy condition and is of lousy quality to begin with. And good jeans are more presentable than the crap suits the witlesses use. On the other hand, joke-hova wants to downplay whatever assets one has. Instead, you suffer in a crap suit that needs special care, and is usually less appealing than fine quality jeans.
