How often do they talk about this Theocratic War Stragety at meetings?

The same lady came back with her daughter the next sunday.

At the end of that conversation I asked her point blank if she knew what theocratic war stragety was but instead of anwsering the question she just laughed. And her daughter did the same.

But even after revealing all that I knew I still got a third return visit. This one was only for a few minuted though. She (the daughter) came back last sunday for some information about the UN scandal.
She read the print outs I gave her and started to laugh half way through.

Jerome, I'm curious, you said you are from a 3rd world country, no? If so, are the people calling on you native to your country, or missionaries? You may have already givin these details, but if so I missed them. Thanks.

Well I said it is a third world i.e developing nation but not exactly like afganistan where people are too poor to go to school or anything.

I just mean that the Witnesses are everywhere. I dont think that any of them are missionaries but they are permanent residents. Alot of them come around. Like every month and a half I see them. Tha in my opnion is way too often. And I rearly ever hear anything detailed about them, only people just call them a cult but have no idea why. But that is going to change. The internet is here to stay.

Because my counry isnt as developed as America you would expect the information resources to be limited on the most basic level. But everything is changing and people are becomng wise to the WT and Mormon cult. The Mormons are missionaies though because you can tel that they dont come from around here. But I think that people would consider them to weird to take them seriously. And try arging wih a true Christian believer who is a trinitarian. That is why they cant really make too much ground because they believe that jesus wasnt God.

Everyone I know seems to be using the internet whether it be for porn or research or chaton msn. So I would expect the number of witnesses to be reduced or stagnate very soon saying that you can find out about them wiht the click of a mouse.

It is important to note that just because a country is third world dosent necessarily mean that the people there are uneducated or cant afford expensive cars or have a television in every room. Its just means that they are not as advanced as countries like the G-7.

But anyways so far I am positive that none of the people that I warned about the witnesses will every become involved with the cult. I have innoculated all of my friends and immediate family. They know what to expect from them. So when they lie to any ofmy friends they will be shooting themselves in the foot.

My gf on the other hand...

    She is a case.

Its easier to talk to her about Watchtower being a cult than it is with a older more indoctrinated witness. But she gives me the same standard WT preprogramed responces that you would expect from a witness.

I have gotten her to accept the fact thet I think that the Watchtower is a cult and I will never become a Witness. And even gotten her to touch an apostate book! Thats gotta count for something. But I think her mother and brother will not be that tolerant.

So that is why I ask questions and lurk on this messageboard especially when I have exams comming up. I hope spending soooo much time on this board dosent affect my studies too much.

    So thats it.

    As James once told me

I am the ultimate Witness nightmare.

    An informed non-witness!

I think the reason that the person laughed half way through the UN material, is because reading it made her very nervous, and she couldn't give an intelligent reply to what you showed her.

    larc your right.

But you have to wonder though, what will she do with this information?

I only bring up things that the witnesses cannot disprove.
The beauty of the UN scandal is that th Watchtower has NO REASONABLE excuse. It is blatantly hypocritical.

The Watchtower cannot discredit the guardian because it has quoted from them many times. It cannot launch a preemptive stike because they dont want any witnesses to find out about it in the first place.

What happens when you break down the barrier of information controll?

    People start to ask questions.

What happens when people start to ask questions and get the shaft?

They start to doubt and ask more questions.

Then start the long road to recovery.

I just cant imagine why they would shoot themselves in their foot like that.

I do not believe I have ever heard this so eloquently phrased.

I can say personally I have helped 2 "born and raised" JW make an exit using the UN scandal as the initial conversation piece.

It may not appear so blatantly to the naked eye yet, but the WTS is in serious trouble. The older generation unwilling to stare reality in the face are dying off, and the young breed are exiting handfuls at a time.

It is not religious persecution for an informed person to expose publicly a certain religion as being false, thus allowing persons to see the difference between false religion and true religion.

Both were childhood friends from my former congregation who remained JW in name, and although committing fornication and every other young adult sin... still believed the JW doctrine. Both ironically are sons of current elders.

The most important point is they were open to possibilities.

Once I showed them the UN scandal and gave them the documents in hand.. then from there proceeded with old bound volumes and contradictions on organ transplants, shunning, rape, blood, generation, Russell gravesite, etc... the floodgates were opened and they DA very quickly.

My case is only one of many. Silently and unadmittingly, the numbers are waning and fast.

The "15 minute" arrangement and the new procedure of the PO collecting time slips instead of the field service box are testament to this.

The WTBTS is desperate not to report decreases, especially in the country where the "WORLD HEADQUARTERS" of "GODS ONLY TRUE ORGANIZATION" is located.

To the WT official who most likely monitors this site, because you HAVE to have knowledge of your opponent in order to survive... you are going down. Each individual can make a difference, and I have encouraged the people I helped make an exit to try with all their might to help someone they know to make an exit. The numbers multiply.

The WTS will be radically changed to mainstream or nonexistent in my lifetime. With so many screw-ups so readily available in documentation to prove this.. they have no choice.

I don't know that I ever outright lied to anyone when I was a Witness, but I know that I evaded issues. If I remember correctly, (it was a long time ago) I was holding onto the hope that everything that I didn't have an explanation for would come to light one day. I didn't really feel that I was being deceptive, I just felt like it wasn't clearly understood. When I did get to the point that I didn't believe what they believed, I left.
