    Thanks Proandcon for the news.

Seems nothing much different this year. A case of "everything old is new again", eh? Checking the last few years programs, the format seems much the same. Just the prophet each year is different!

Welcome aboard. Let's 'hear' more from you!

    Cheers,
    Ozzie

Reading that made me ill. I broke out into a fine sweat on the forehead and experienced a small but growing nausea.

Same old shit, recycled, microwaved, and served up lukewarm with cold spots in it. About as attractive as stepping barefoot in fresh greenish dog poo.

Have I ever told you that I'm SOOOOooooooooooo glad to be out of that organization that I could just shit??? Well, I'm telling you now.

Looks like the same old, same old...

I don't know of course, but Friday's 'Guard Against Deception' talk looks like this year's possibility for the Society to have a dig at apostates on the Net.

This just confirms I have to get out before the district convention. I'm cringing right just thinking of having to sit through hours of boring discourses

    Leander,

    Just don't go!

Or you could pace yourself by taking regular 'breaks' during the program.

    Cheers,
    Ozzie

...and I wonder of Sunday's talk 'Youths-Build for the Future with Jehovah's Organization' will be for or against further education?

    Any bets?

Leander, I understand the new 'Gameboy' console is very good, you can hide it behind your bible and no-one will know.

Ozzie, hopefully I'll be out before the district comes around.

Dmouse - For the last 2 or conventions I've been prepared with a laptop and my comic book collection. About a hour into the program I usually head back to the car and spend most of the day reading Fantastic Four stories and playing video games.

Remember the really tiresome clapping? It started to build on Sunday afternoon. By the last talk everything the brother said was a question and he would pause for us to clap. UGH! I can't believe I used to feel bad if someone noticed I took a break and didn't clap one time. I was afraid they would think I was not spiritual.

That memory just gave me the serious creeps.
