Any *major* doctrine a religion has built off of a parable, or a Psalm, or from Revelation, is a red flag. Get your running shoes on cause it's time to split!

parable- The faithful and discreet slave story

    Revelation- 144,000 amongst others

    Psalm- earthly paradise (psalm 37?)

There is no doubt that you guys have picked out the biggies: armageddon predictions, the 144000, the faithful and discreet slave, and others.

I would like to add their entire chronological system. They use simple minded numerology to place our century into a warped system of time periods. This is pure distortion and foolery.

They also apply bible events to themselves, even when there is no reason to think that a modern application was meant, and when the comparison works extremely poorly. Take for example, the application of the bowls of God's anger being applied to seven insignificant JW conventions in the 1920's.

Truly this is a religion that looks good only to people who have never read a book.

    Be back with more….

    Most UNBIBLICAL teaching?

That salvation is dependent upon being being one of Jehovah's Witnesess, instead of Grace from God through your faith in christ, that ANY can attain, APART from their organisation.

You cna pick from this list:
How about that JesusChrist is Archangel Michael in the Flesh?

    Their Shunning Policy.

Their attitude of not associating with anyone outside their religion. In that case, while they say that "bad associations spoil useful habits and Take no part of this world", they forgot the passage in the bible that says "For God love the world so much that he gave his only begotten son...". For instance, JesusChrist did live and hang out with worldly people (a tax collector, a harlot among them) and did convert them.

    Jerome,

When you expose the error of the 1914 teaching, the whole "house of cards" comes tumbling down, including the F&DS teaching and the authority therof. (Matt. 24:45) Check out this link.

The concept that they are exclusively God's organization and channel of communication here on earth for the entire human race. If they could end this teaching, everything else wrong would eventually get changed, or they would lose 99% of their members.

What about blood? That if you take blood for medical purposes you are displeasing Jehovah, that you are not respecting the sanctity of blood, that you are not respecting the role of blood in the outworking of God's purpose ie the value of the blood in the ransom.

What about df'ing? Bible says to treat them as men of the nations, yet they shun them.

What about df'ing as punishment for past sins as opposed to their biblical example of the man sleeping with the mother in law? Ok, but they welcomed him back, doesn't say he had to come to the meetings for a year and be shunned.

And they say JW's don't break up families.......yet the WT says they can only speak to family members who live in the same household. UM where is THAT in the bible?
