    You are right that the clergy/laity concept is "cloaked" or disguised under the Elder/Publisher label. The religion even uses ecclesiastical privilege in courts of law when defending wrongdoers. What does that tell you?

    Their "clergy" is just called by another name and wears different clothes.

    Are they a cult? Yes. They can take their place alongside all the other ones.

    No one who is actually in a cult ever thinks they are, it's the nature of the beast. It is usually only after they leave and learn about how cults work that they are able to understand it.
