    1. Callous unconcern for the feelings of others;

    Who here seriously believes that the GB gives a damn about the average rank-and-filer's emotional state?

    2. Gross and persistent attitude of irresponsibility and disregard for social norms, rules, and obligations

    Who here seriously believes that the GB takes adequate responsibility for their errors, or gives a damn about society's perception of it beyong its public image?

    3. Incapacity to maintain enduring relationships, though having no difficulty in establishing them

    Who here seriously believes that the GB maintains an authentic relationship with the rank-and-file that actually benefits both parties?

    4. Very low tolerance to frustration and a low threshold for discharge of aggression, including violence

    Who here seriously believes that the GB handles frustration well, is nonagressive towards ex-members, and doesn't utilize violent rhetoric?

    5. Incapacity to experience guilt or to profit from experience, particularly punishment

    Who here seriously believes that the GB feels collectively bad about the lives damaged or lost due to its policies, or is graciously accepting the courts' admonishment over the Conti case?

    6. Marked readiness to blame others or to offer plausible rationalizations for the behavior that has brought the person into conflict with society

    Who here seriously believes that the GB wouldn't immediately blame the rank-and-file if the WTS experienced another embarrassment like 1975?

    How did you manage to get hold of earlier publications while in jail? Is it not difficult to get anything in there at all let alone such rather specialist literature such as this?

    An inmate in a Federal prison can fill out a form we called a "cop out" to request permission to have religious books mailed or brought in on visiting day.

    Jehovah's Witnesses were not trouble makers--the prison officials didn't give a flip what books we read. A particular JW inmate, Tollie Padgett, was

    quite the scholarly minded sort who decided it would be a good use of idle time to study the history of the organization.

    I was in his...uh hem..."elite" book study group :)
