what the hell is up with this defense? This is what a JW relative said to me when we were discussing this..."well they weren't actually part of the UN, they were only a NGO with the DPI." obviously with the availability of information on the Internet, anyone that CARED ENOUGH to check it out, could go to the UN's website and the organizational chart for "The UNITED NATIONS SYSTEM" shows the "secretariat" as an organ of the UN system, and the "DPI" listed as one of the Secretariat's departments. but as we all know, until someone wants to know the real truth, they are just going to believe what they are told to believe....it's much easier that way....
