another problem with the new FDS doctrine

The issue July 15th 2013 changes the understanding of the FDS dramatically, and it was broiught out here and on other places this creates numerous problems.

    Here is another one:

Jesus is supposed to be the head of the congregation. When something goes wrong, he is often portrayed as the one having control over his congregation and also that in time he will act, clean the congo and direct elders (being the stars in his hand)

But now, he is portrayed as being actually absent from the congregation, since he appointed a slave to provide proper food. The reason in the parable, why the master appointed a slave, was not to keep the slave busy, or because the master became lazy, no it was simple, because the master left the country, therefore could not take care of this by himself.

But if he is absent, how can he direct congregational matters ? What point is there in entrusting somebody else with such an important task, like providing "spirtual" food, but still watching the whole thing and meddling in the affairs anyway at anytime ? It simply does not make sense.

    New doctrine:

Jesus popped back in 1914 for a flying visit, did a quick survey of the world's religions, liked the Bible students, appointed a few at USA Bethel in 1919 to be the 'slave' to feed the domestics, but didn't tell them, and they didn't realise for 94 years...

"Soon", Jesus will return again, but he doesn't really have much to do because the 'slave' has been kind enough to judge themselves for him and has decided they will be "appointed over all his belongings", so all Jesus really has to do is smash a few buildings and kill 99.9% of the earths population.

    Makes sense.

Let's see if I've got this.

Jesus returned invisibly in 1874 1914, inspected the nonsense the Bible Students were publishing, chose them, cleansed them, and put them in charge of all his domestics, which is not the same as putting them in charge of his entire house.

Then he got busy elsewhere and left it to Jehovah's spirit (invisible, impersonal, active force) to guide them.

Immediately, they came up with an incorrect date for the end (1925) and have been coming up with wrong dates ever since.

Meanwhile, they have received "new light" on so many of their doctrines that Russell and Rutherford would be DFd as heretics today.

Nevertheless, those two men are ruling with Christ from heaven.

Fred Franz is also ruling with Christ from heaven even though he misled JWs regarding who the faithful and discreet slave really was.

The 1914 generation that would not pass away has been redefined to overlap so the end could still be 100 years away, even though it is coming any day now.

Despite all this, the WTS is the only organization on earth that "understands the deep things of God."

Even though the humble brothers on the GB admit that they aren't infallible or inspired, if you don't obey them and agree with everything they say, you are in danger of being annihilated at Armageddon when Jesus really returns.

Sapphy ! what a brilliantly succinct summation of the latest twaddle !

Of course, it will, sadly, "make sense" to the mind-controlled JW's.

Well put as well Ding !

    in between good point.

The "JC is in control" speak is oviously done

To justify any and all of the GB/Elders actions.

    of course it is wrong.

In Math. 7:21--- Jesus said* he would condem what was done in his name er Jehovahs? name and

"--I never KNEW you--" much less directed you.

    * if we can believe any of this starting with the talking snake.

Jesus clearly stated "All authority has been given me in Heaven and on Earth".

If he had been told to, or had decided to give away any or all of that authority, he would have said so. Claiming that one of his parables, most of the features of which they ignore, gives a mandate to the WT to claim this authority for themselves is not just nonsense, it is blasphemy.

    *** w12 10/15 p. 14 par. 8 What Kind of Spirit Do You Show? ***

Jesus can direct the “stars” in his hand in any way he feels appropriate. (Rev. 1:16, 20) Thus, as Head of the Christian congregation, Jesus has full control of the bodies of elders.
