To his credit, he started a religion that has had more influence than anything else in the history of western civilization, for better or worse. Some time ago I thought it was for the better. I am not so sure anymore.
Did Jesus really start a religion ? , or was it his peers that started a religion about him . "All" the preaching he did in the last 3 years of his life ,{ no I should quantify that , because it is written not every thing ,guidance/instruction/etc.etc.was preserved for mankinds benefit , because it would fill volumes of pages .] was to teach the truth and draw people closer to God .Obviously then the bulk of what he was teaching was not worthy of being included in the Christian Greek Scriptures .And Jesus obviously didnt think "anthing "he had to say was any worth because he never wrote anything down at all.
