Actually, the site of the old city of Tyre, 25 centuries later remains a bare rock, uninhabited, without even a ruin to mark the spot.
Wrong again, Vanderhoven. While parts of ancient Tyre arepreserved as an archeological site and parts of the ancient city are underwater, there is no more "island", the isthmus connects what was the old island to the mainland and it is quite well inhabited, both the mainland, the isthmus and parts of the ancient city. There are plenty of ruins.
God's word rocks...excuse the pun.
Ezekiel also predicted the Nile would dry up. Didn't happen. Rocks are what you need in your head to believe this stuff.
