  Exciting new adjustments in understanding in the July 15th WT! Here is a quick summary sent to me and I wanted to share.

  ---

  1 -- All anointed will be in heaven prior to Armageddon.

  2 -- The inspection of the temple is adjusted from 1918 to the years between 1914-1919.

  3 -- The weeping and gnashing of teeth by members of false religion is yet future... after Great Tribulation begins.

  4 -- The shining of the anointed in Matt 13:43 is still future and not the same as Dan 12:3 which describes the preaching work.

  5 -- The Faithful & Discreet Slave has been functioning since 1919 and today is synonymous with the Governing Body collectively.

  6 -- The domestics include ALL faithful ones who are fed spiritually by the slave including the anointed, individual members of the Governing Body, and the Other Sheep.

  7 -- The Reward of receiving the "belongings" is still future, when the anointed are resurrected to rule with Christ and include both earthly and heavenly belongings.

  8 -- The Evil Slave at Matt 24:48-51.. Is a warning to Faithful & Discreet Slave.. The phrase... "If ever" is hypothetical. Therefore, currently, there is no "evil slave." Those who have acted like the Evil Slave in the past are considered apostate.

  Wouldn't this include all of the GB and all who partake at the Memorial?

  Kind of leaves all of the "other sheep" to fend for themselves, doesn't it?

  The anointed will become angels, and continue to help the other sheep, from heaven.

  "Are they not all spirits for public service, sent forth to minister for those who are going to inherit salvation?" (Hebrews 1:14)

  so the annointed are now irrelevent, according to the GB, but then they will become relevent, when they go to heaven?

  Can you give a specific WT reference for this claim?

  • SO IT MUST BE TRUE THIS TIME ?

  So My Questions Are:

  1) WHY WAS THE SPIRIT GIVING THEM WRONG DIRECTION ALL THESE DECADES?

  2) How can we trust anything they say the Spirit says now...when evidence (history) has proven Jehovah's Spirit was wrong?

  Once this is seen by JWs, as more error, based on pure speculation of a failed eschatology, points 3,4,5,6,7,8, all fall like a house of cards.

  Point 1 is a current understanding of a pre-millenium rapture by some Christians...Informed Christians know that there are several understandings of the one scripture in the whole Bible that mentions the 1000 years rule of Christ, that is NOT conditional on salvation. In my opinion the millennium is symbolic and is the present Gospel age of grace, already in action in the daily lives of Christians since penticost, awaiting its completion.

  Seems like a warning from the "control" freaks among the GB to some among the OCTOMOM who may be wavering.
