Why did Paul Gillies resign from the IBSA board amongst claims over the handling of sex abuse.

  Basically it was discussing how a sex abuse incident was handled, and that  the upper echelon were now falling on the sword over it. This is taken from silent lambs

  What the article didn't mention and what I am trying to find the answer to is a post by Searcher who,also noted that Paul Gillies had also resigned from the IBSA. So was this a result of the handling of sex abuse or not? This was is the proof that Paul did resign

  I think we in the UK are going to have to wait for the Witness grapevine to start spreading the reasons for his resignation.

  It's an odds-on certainty that because he was the Head of Propaganda & Sugar-Coating at the Britain Branch, (and all that it entails!) he was probably up to his neck with all the info in all the publicised pedo cases - therefore, he was a liability if the investigating authorities got him to squeal!
