    I am so unsure.

I am sure that my misery will spread to my potential wife and kids.

    Decisions, decisions...

Why not get treatment for your depression?

It's not a permanent problem you know, or at least it doesn't have to be.

Maybe having a partner will make you less depressed? If you marry, you don't have to have kids right away....you could wait a while until you fell better and stronger.

    I wish you the best.

stress can be so bad for the illness. every case/treatment is different.

type of therapy, treatment, whether its working, medication etc.

the ROOT cause fo the depression.

    such a complicated illness.

BUT ... the right person could work wonders. Nothing stopping you from looking for that person.

Love, can be such a great happy thing.

hope it goes well for you

I have a friend who suffers bouts of chronic depression. Her husband has stuck by her side and they raised three great young adults. Get treatment. Have hope.

Depression is not a death sentence. There are many types of depression: Major, anxiety, bipolar, etc. The best advice is to put yourself under the care of a good phychiatrist. Figure out out what type of depression you have. With a good treatment-a mix of drugs and support, there is no reason why you can't enjoy life to the full.

    All the best.
