Looks like the memorial and deadline for filing an appeal are the same. Should be interesting memorial for the Faithful Slaves, and how they are handleing the Masters belongings in court. Either it's Satan or Jehovah will show their power and who really is the Faithful and Discreet Slave, It is all spin when you come right down to it. The Fateful day of The Faithful Slave. Will the Master beat this slave with many strokes?

    “One Man Died for All”

    • Who is this man?

    • How does his death help us?

    • Why is it important that we remember him?

You are invited to consider answers from the Bible on Tuesday, March 26, 2013

The WTS was already given two "extensions." Now they have a 3rd one for 15 days. "T hird time's the charm!"

What they failed to do, Gayle, was file for an extension on March 8. The court has scheduled a "do or die" date on March 26. If they fail to file then, the appeal is abandoned.

Chances are that the GB are going to get 'drunk' on Memorial night?

So if March 26th comes and goes with no action, the case will close and the original verdict will stand.

I wonder if this could be spun as "The courts imposed an unrealistic 2 week deadline on WTS knowing they would not be able to respond in time. Thus Satans system appeared to have succeeded in maligning Jehovah's name with false charges" type of thing.

The dubs would lap that up and over time it would become accepted history.

Hey this should prove whether or not the Governing Body are the "Faithful and Discrete Slave" once and for all. Will the Governing Body will all be partaking worthily on that night? Would be nice if someone could snap a few pictures of them doing so.

It aint over until the fat lady sings . . .

Even if they miss the deadline, they can get the dismissal vacated fairly easily by filing a motion under CCP 473 contending that the missed deadline was due to the attorney's mistake, inadvertence, surprise, or excusable neglect. If any those circumstances are shown to the court's satisifaction, the court is required to vacate the dismissal. CCP 473 motions are routinely granted in California.

The ability to cure within 15 days is in the CA court rules, so it's not some deadline a Satanic judge made up. But of course they would believe any spin "mother" puts on it. They are not going to miss the deadline, though.

ETA: I did not know about CCP473 motions. So maybe they will miss. But I'm sure they will go through with the appeal one way or another.

If the appeal is dropped because they miss this final deadline, the question will rightly be asked - why did they file an appeal in the first place if they couldn't even be bothered to submit their paperwork?

Maybe they're waiting for Armageddon to come before March 26th.
