LOL, donuts here are baked, I have a friend who is a baker.... yay Canada

PS, baked or fried, I would assume the franchises use the same method for cooking/distribution.

Wow, just did some research on whether DD are baked or fried ......... verrry interesting!

Some are partially cooked, frozen, and shipped to the franchisee. Some are made in-house, fresh. Some are baked, some are fried.

I stand corrected by my own research! lol, no 'concrete' answer to be found, at least by moi.

    xo

You can bribe me with a DD toasted coconut donut . . . . . I don't care how it's made. It's 101% super good in my mouth.

I think they are baked in China and then shipped over here.

After a childhood of field service coffee breaks, I have a love of frosted french cruellers.

    YUM.

The batter is mixed in Indonesia. The holes are punched in china, then shipped to Bangladesh for glazing. Sprinkles are usually subcontracted to various sweatshops in Mexico.
