Baptismal talks are given when there are no candidates, to make the baptised audience medidate on their own baptism. The questions are not asked if no-one gets up.

As for age, I have a couple of acquaintances that were baptised at the age of 8 - and that was back in the 1940s, so low age should not be emphasised too much as a sign of an organisational crisis.

This past weekend in London Ohio (Midwest US) there was 1 baptized on Saturday and 2 baptized on Sunday, all boys. Attendance was about 950 each day.

It almost would have been worth it going to the convention to see a baptism talk with no takers. *Awkward* they can't even get nut jobs and little children to join the cult these days.

Obviously the internet has been an influence in bringing the numbers down and they should continue to go down where ever there is internet access for the general public. There may be a year or two where some of these countries show a increase but over all things should be heading down at a pretty steady rate especially with this big money grab and lawsuit pay outs news that will be filtering through to the rank and file and eventually become common knowledge.
