  Formal etiquette allows for a married woman to be called Mrs. John Doe, as others mentioned, but it is not common in contemporary society.

  I did not marry as a dub but dubs do address me as Mrs. John Doe. I think in part they are doing it to annoy me. Mission accomplished.

  I remember learning in school that the proper way to address mail to a married woman was Mrs. John Doe. However, in business settings it is no longer appropriate to even ask if a woman is married, so all written references should be Ms. Jane Doe.
