The amount of time spent by elders or other Watchtower operatives preparing so called spiritual food is irrelevent to this scripture.
The relevent point is those who compared the teaching to existing scripture were considered more noble minded than those who gulped down any teaching handed to them without question.
Does the Watchtower encourage people to examine their teachings like the Bereans did, by comparing to scripture?
