I've always thought the worst that the JWs do to a person is warp their human nature.

I personally beleive said human nature is mostly good.

I think the really bad thing they do is stop people being themselves, being who they truly are.

CharIts my great grandkids 8th birthday to day...I rang her & sang Happy Birthday
.Told her next time I see her I will take her out & sshe can pick her own gift.( If I am still alive
