thats when I knew it was WRONG!!!
I quietly filed it into the back of my mind as somthing that would never happen.
I just thought god would never commit an injustice!
It wasn't just children, though that didn't sit well with me either. It was the prospect of God killing billions of people whose biggest sin was that they rejected JWs when they came uninvited to their homes. I couldn't believe that people's salvation, and their children's, by extension, could depend on how they responded to awkwardly delivered religious presentations given at their doorstep.
just soo glad i was in the winning team.
If you ask a current JW, you'll undoubtedly get the response that "Jehovah will do the right thing" or something similarly vague.
It's a classic moment of cognitive dissonance - they eagerly await Armageddon, yet are repulsed by the thought of God slaughtering 10's of millions of children & babies.
I simply didn't think about it.
I bought into the nonsense even taught it to others.
This is how it worked. It was kind of republican/conservative thinking.
Parents are responsible for their children.
If parents ignore God they will raise their children to ignore God.
Saving children of bad parents isn't fair to the responsible parents who raise their children to fear God.
It's a lesson humans have to learn even though it's painful to contemplate. The death of children leaves an indelible image of what happens when people stray from righteousness.
So make sure you take care to raise your kids right. It all depends on YOU.
Blah! Blah! Blah! YUK.
And now the WTS says people don't need a personal witness and God will still wipe them out of existence.

Nevertheless, the Bible does not state that Jehovah will wait until every individual on earth has received a personal witness. Rather, the good news must be preached to Jehovah’s satisfaction. Then the end will come.—Compare Matthew 10:23.
