  There was a story about a Western Doctor who went to NK to perform Cataract Surgery on the populace, many of which hadn't been able to see in almost a decade. What shocked me was that after removing the eye bandages from the patients, instead of thanking the doctor, the North Koreans immediately walked to a nearby mural of "dear leader" and began to chant how happy it was that their eyes were restored so they could finally gaze upon Kim jung il again...
