1. What exciting prospect awaits the “great crowd”?
CAN you imagine all the good that a powerful
government under a just and compassionate
ruler could do for its subjects in
one thousand years? Wonderful events await the
unnumbered “great crowd”—survivors of “the great
tribulation,” which will bring a total end to the present
wicked system of things.—Rev. 7:9, 14.
COMMENTS
Just = the same God who forgave David for adultery and murder, capital crimes under the Law, a law that does not allow human judges to administer the same forgiveness for any Israelites nor any record of God having forgiven other adulterers or murderers (other than Bathsheba)
Compassionate = a God who has said that children will be executed eternally for the sins of their parents
Great crowd = “survivors” of the great tribulation (all others are under the category “other sheep”)
Total end to all non-jws = wicked system of things
2. What have humans experienced during the past 6,000
years?
2 During 6,000 years of human history, self-determination
and self-rule have brought a tragic abundance of pain
and suffering to mankind. The Bible long ago stated: “Man
has dominated man to his injury.” (Eccl. 8:9) What do we see today?
Aside from wars and uprisings, there are the devastating
problems of poverty, disease, destruction of the environment,
climate change, and more. Government officials have
warned that if we do not change our business-as-usual attitude,
the outcome will be disastrous.

6,000 years of human history = starts with the creation of Adam
But the end of the sixth creative day ends with the creation of Eve

3. What will the Thousand Year Reign bring about?
3 Under the Messianic King Jesus Christ and his
144,000 corulers, God’s Kingdom will take progressive
steps to undo all the damage done to humans
and their home, the planet Earth. The Thousand
Year Reign will bring about the fulfillment of the
Heart-warming promise by Jehovah God: “I am creating
new heavens and a new earth; and the former
things will not be called to mind, neither will they
come up into the heart.” (Isa. 65:17) What wonderful,
though still unseen, events await us? With the
help of God’s prophetic Word, let us get a glimpse
of the marvelous things yet “unseen.”—2 Cor. 4:18.

“Messianic” King Jesus Christ = not to be confused with God as King (WTS)

Former things not called at mind = unless you happen to be a clueless human when God unleashes Armageddon and are destroyed forever, no exemptions for children.
So any jw or non-jw need only the help of the bible to get a “glimpse”?
Yet the WTS has said the end was coming in 1914, 1915, 1925, 1975, 70 years generation = 1984, 80 year generation = 1994. Did the bible give a glimpse of the 1914 generation, only to have the rug pulled out from jws in 1995.
How many mistakes did they make and how did they cover them up?

Studies in the Scriptures after 1914
Editions of Studies in the Scriptureswritten prior to 1914 were very specific about what would happen prior to and during 1914. These journals continued to be used after 1914. To overcome the obviously erroneous predictions in 1915 they were reissued with amendments.
For example the 1908 edition of Studies in the Scriptures Series III - Thy Kingdom Come stated on p.228 that the resurrection would occur before 1914. The 1915 edition changed this to state that the resurrection was to occur soon after 1914.

‘THEY WILL BUILD HOUSES
AND PLANT VINEYARDS’
4. What housing conditions do many face today?
4 Who would not like to have a home
of his own, a place where he and his
family could feel safe and secure? In today’s
world, however, adequate housing
is a serious problem. People are packed
into crowded cities. Many have to manage
with makeshift dwellings in shantytowns
and city slums. Having a house
of their own remains a mere dream for
them.
COMMENTS
So that is the source of security, “a home of his own”? Quite a few people who had short sales or foreclosures of that secure place, might say something different…or one swept away in a storm and burnt to the ground or shaken to pieces.
Still a dream.
5, 6. (a) Isaiah 65:21 and Micah 4:4 will have
what fulfillment? (b) How can we receive that
blessing?
5 Under Kingdom rule, the desire of
every resident to have his own home
will be fulfilled, for it was prophesied
through Isaiah: “They will certainly
build houses and have occupancy; and
they will certainly plant vineyards and
eat their fruitage.” (Isa. 65:21) Yet, having
a home of their own is not the only
prospect. After all, some today live in
their own home, a few even in a mansion
or on a grand estate. But there is always
the worry that the home can be
lost through some financial reverses or
that burglars—or worse—will break in.
How different everything will be under
Kingdom rule! The prophet Micah
wrote: “They will actually sit, each one
under his vine and under his fig tree,
and there will be no one making them
tremble.”—Mic. 4:4.
COMMENTS
Will jws have that desire fulfilled? Whose houses will be built first, those in charge, elders, etc.? Will they be handed the blueprint of allowed materials and size? Where will they get the material, will others help build it, how will “deserving” ones be judged?
(Isaiah65:20) . . .No more will there come to be a suckling a few days old from that place, neither an old man that does not fulfill his days; for one will die as a mere boy, although a hundred years of age; and as for the sinner, although a hundred years of age he will have evil called down upon him.

Still, what will prevent a few wicked ones from spoiling the peace and justice? A bit further on, Isaiah 65 puts to rest what might seem to be a problem.
During this ongoing Judgment Day, Jesus will continue his work of judging individuals, whether they qualify for everlasting life. Some will not. After being given ample time, maybe even “a hundred years,” to seek God, some will show that they refuse to practice righteousness. Justly they will lose life in that new world,
6 With that wonderful prospect in
mind, what should we do? Of course,
all of us need adequate housing. Nonetheless,
rather than striving to acquire
that dream house now—perhaps going
heavily into debt to do so—would it not
be wise for us to focus on Jehovah’s
promise? Recall what Jesus said of himself:
“Foxes have dens and birds of heaven
have roosts, but the Son of man has
nowhere to lay down his head.” (Luke 9:
58) Jesus had the ability and the power
to build or acquire the best house
anyone could possibly have. Why did
he not do so? Clearly, Jesus wanted to
avoid any distraction and entanglement
that would prevent him from putting
the Kingdom first. Can we follow his
example and keep our eye simple—free
of materialistic entanglement and anxiety?—
Matt. 6:33, 34.
COMMENTS
“adequate” housing = so who decides what adequate is? Will they be allowed to pursue a “dream house” then or will they be told what their dream is?
Of course, Jesus knew he wasn’t going to live out his life on earth, that he was only staying 3 ½ years after his baptism. Jesus lived on the donations of his followers though he provided food twice.
Why does the WTS escalate it to a “dream” house, the “best house,” one that requires going heavily into debt? The last congregation I was in all 6 elders built houses or purchased houses the same year. Was it a distraction, did they devote a lot of time and money, yes, did anyone point out their flaws, materialistic and lacking a simple eye? (Not a one)

7. What relationship between humans and animals
was originally mandated by Jehovah?
7 In the process of creation, Jehovah
made humans last, the apex of his
earthly works. To his Master Worker,
his firstborn Son, Jehovah stated his
specific purpose: “Let us make man in
our image, according to our likeness,
and let them have in subjection the fish
of the sea and the flying creatures of the
heavens and the domestic animals and
all the earth and every moving animal
that is moving upon the earth.” (Gen. 1:
26) Thus, Adam and Eve, and eventually
all humans, were mandated to have
dominion over the animal creation.
COMMENTS
Actually based on this statement, Eve was the “apex” of God’s earthly creation.
How does the WTS adjust the idea that Eve was also in God’s image? Does a single woman or widow have a head? No. Will it be both men or women, or even in the dominion over animals will women be second to males?

It should be remembered that man was created first and for some time was alone, being in God’s image by himself. The woman was made from the man and was to be subject to the man. The woman’s position thus is one that cannot reflect God’s position of headship toward his creatures, and it is this matter of headship that is discussed in 1 Corinthians chapter 11. Jehovah God is not subject to anyone. Unlike the woman, the man does not have an earthly head over him when it comes to matters relating to his wife and children. Hence in this respect he alone is “God’s image.” In other respects, of course, the woman shares with the man in reflecting the admirable and lovable qualities of God.
8. What animal behavior is common today?
8 Is it really possible for humans to
have all the animals in subjection and
to be at peace with them? Many people
are very close to their pets, such
as dogs and cats. What about wild animals,
though? One report says: “Scientists
who have lived closely with beasts
and studied them have found that all
mammals are emotional.” Of course,
we see animals become frightened or ferocious
when they are threatened, but
are they capable of what some might
describe as tender feelings? The report
continues: “It is in the raising of their
young that mammals reveal their greatest
attribute—their tremendous capacity
for warm affection.”
COMMENTS
In many ways animals excel in the treatment of their young than humans..what about jws, how many show tenderness to their fellows, how many judge non-jws as dead already?
I remember one of the last talks I heard was one that compared kissing a non-jw spouse as kissing a corpse, judging them as already dead. Where is the love in that?
9. Regarding the animals, what changes can
we expect?
9 So we should not be surprised when
we read in the Bible that peace will
come to prevail between humans and
animals. (Read Isaiah 11:6-9; 65:25.)
Why not? Recall that when Noah and
his family emerged from the ark after
the Flood, Jehovah told them: “A fear
of you and a terror of you will continue
upon every living creature of the earth.” That was
for the animals’ self-preservation. (Gen. 9:2, 3)
Could not Jehovah remove a measure of that fear
and terror, so that his original mandate
would be fulfilled? (Hos. 2:18) What an
enjoyable time awaits all who will survive
to live on earth then!
COMMENTS
To what extent, will people have tigers as pets…they will still be “wild” animals not domestic such as cows…right will jws have cows as house pets?
The WTS says that those scriptures in Isaiah primarily apply to humans not animals.

Is this prophecy merely foretelling a time when animals will live in harmony with humans? No, there is more to it than that. Note that the last part of the passage indicates what causes the transformation: “The earth will certainly be filled with the knowledge of Jehovah.” Does knowledge of God change animal behavior? Hardly. But it can and does change people! This prophecy foretells that those who may have had animalistic tendencies would put them aside and develop a Christlike personality because of learning and applying what the Bible teaches.

Under Messiah’s rulership, however, there comes to be a greater fulfillment of the restoration prophecies. Persons who may at one time have been of a beastly, animalistic, vicious disposition come to be at peace with more docile fellow humans and do not seek to do them harm or injury.
“HE WILL WIPE OUT EVERY TEAR”
10. Why are tears common in human experience?
10 When Solomon saw “all the acts
of oppression that are being done under
the sun,” he lamented: “Look! the
tears of those being oppressed, but they
had no comforter.” (Eccl. 4:1) Things are
similar, if not worse, today. Who among
us has not shed tears for some reason?
True, at times they may be tears of joy.
Generally, though, tears reflect the outpouring
of an anguished heart.
COMMENTS
Are many jws “oppressed” in the WT organization, a place where personal choice has a different definition that presented to non-jws? A place where men are not allowed facial hair (beards, depending on the BOE).

11. What Bible account particularly touches
your heart?
11 Recall the many touching and emotional
scenes we read about in the Bible. When
Sarah died at the age of 127,
“Abraham came in to bewail Sarah and
to weep over her.” (Gen. 23:1, 2) When
Naomi said farewell to her two widowed
daughters-in-law, “they began to
raise their voices and weep,” and then
“they raised their voices and wept some
more.” (Ruth 1:9, 14) When King Hezekiah
was afflicted with sickness and certain
death, he prayed to God and “began
to weep profusely,” which evidently
touched Jehovah. (2 Ki. 20:1-5) And
who is not moved by the account of the
apostle Peter denying Jesus? On hearing
the cock crow, Peter “went outside and
wept bitterly.”—Matt. 26:75.
COMMENTS
(1 Thessalonians4:13) Moreover, brothers, we do not want YOU to be ignorant concerning those who are sleeping [in death]; that YOU may not sorrow just as the rest also do who have no hope.

This resurrection hope enables true Christians to avoid becoming overly sad about the death of loved ones. They do not “sorrow just as the rest also do who have no hope.” (1 Thess. 4:13) They rejoice that infants will be brought back to life under the kingdom of God’s Son, with the opportunity of never dying again. They are comforted in knowing that their children’s sleeping in death will not permanently injure them.
It is also comforting to recognize that an early death may have even spared children from many severe troubles and suffering, both in past times and in the present.
12. How will Kingdom rule bring true relief to
mankind?
12 Because of the tragic events—small
and large—that befall us, mankind is
sorely in need of comfort and relief.
That is what the Thousand Year Reign
will bring to its subjects: “[God] will
wipe out every tear from their eyes,
and death will be no more, neither will
mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.”
(Rev. 21:4) As wonderful as it is
that mourning, outcry, and pain will be
no more, God’s promise even includes
doing away with mankind’s ultimate enemy—
death. How is that to come about?
COMMENTS
The WTS teaches that we are 37 years past the end of 6,000 years of human history that started with the creation of Adam. But the WTS once taught that Eve was created shortly after Adam. Thus we are 37 years into the 1,000 Year Reign long after Armageddon and the destruction of all religions except the WTS.
Pertaining to the book Aid To Bible Understanding; it is interesting that on page 538 under the heading "Eve"/"BIRTHS OF CHILDREN"; states:
" Later she gave birth to Abel as well at to other sons
and daughters . At the age of 130 another son was born
to her . Eve called his name Seth, saying :..."
At the heading "Seth" (page 1472), the statement is made that Adam was 130 when Seth was born...
"SETH [appointed, substituted] . The son of Adam
and Eve born when Adam was 130 years old . Eve
named him Seth because, as she said,..."
"Aid" book claimed Adam and Eve were created in the same year:Adam at age 130 had a son, Seth -- Aid to Bible Understanding , p.333Eve at age 130 had a son, Seth -- Aid to Bible Understanding, p.538

13. How has death affected humans since
Adam’s fall?
13 Ever since Adam sinned, death has
ruled as a king over humanity. It has
been an invincible enemy, the inescapable
end for sinful humans, the source
of immeasurable sorrow and grief.
(Rom. 5:12, 14) In fact, “for fear of
death,” millions are “subject to slavery
all through their lives.”—Heb. 2:15.
COMMENTS
But………..humans lived longer prior to the flood and longer after that, e.g., Moses lived to be 120. Why do humans not live that long today?
What the WTS fails to mention is they believe SOON anyone who is not a jw (and even some who say they are) will be destroyed eternally, in a way set free of their “slavery.” Men, women and children, even those who have never once heard the WTS doctrine of salvation.
14. What will result when death is brought to nothing?
14 The Bible points to the time when “as the
last enemy, death is to be brought to nothing.”
(1 Cor. 15:26) Two groups can be mentioned
who will come in line to benefit from that. For
the “great crowd,” who live now, it will be possible
to survive into the promised new world
with unending life in view. For the billions
who have already been snatched up by death,
it will be possible to experience a resurrection.
Can you imagine the joy and excitement when
those in the former group welcome back the latter?
A close look at some of the resurrection accounts
in the Bible can give us a foretaste of
what it might be like.—Read Mark 5:38-42; Luke
7:11-17.
COMMENTS
Will death be brought to nothing…the WTS teaches Isaiah 65:20 means that people will be executed even during the paradise onto the end of the 1,000 years will people counted as “the sands of the sea” will be executed eternally. Even after this “final test” people are subject to death if even as perfect people they fail. The WTS teaches that even the immortal can still be destroyed by God.
Actually based on the WTS dogma, jws should be killing people now prior to the GT and Armageddon and give them a hope for life through resurrection in the paradise.
15. How would you likely react to seeing a loved one
brought back to life?
15 Think of the expressions “they were beside
themselves with great ecstasy” and “they began
to glorify God.” If you had been present on
those occasions, perhaps you would have felt the
same way. Indeed, seeing our dead loved ones
come back to life through the resurrection will
produce in us a marvelous sensation of joy and
exhilaration. Jesus said: “The hour is coming in
which all those in the memorial tombs will hear
his voice and come out.” (John 5:28, 29) None of
us have ever seen such a thing take place; it will
surely be one of the grandest of “the things unseen.”
COMMENTS
But what ecstasy will they feel when 7 billion plus non-jws, men, women and children, are dying around them (in their fantasy)? Will they regret only spending 1 hour a month warning people? Will they trust God will find them lacking and that the nits (children) need to be killed as well as the lice (parents)?
GOD WILL BE “ALL THINGS TO EVERYONE”
16. (a) Why should we talk enthusiastically about the
blessings yet unseen? (b) What did Paul say to encourage
the Corinthian Christians?
PICTURE; Upon completion of his assignments
as King, Jesus will humbly hand over
the Kingdom to his Father
16 Yes, a glorious future awaits those who
prove faithful to Jehovah in these critical times!
Though the grand blessings are yet unseen,
keeping them clearly in mind will
help us to focus on what is truly important
and to avoid being sidetracked
by the fleeting attractions of the present
system of things. (Luke 21:34; 1 Tim. 6:
17-19) During family study and worship,
in conversations with fellow believers,
and in discussions with Bible students
and interested ones, let us speak enthusiastically
about our marvelous hope
and prospects. This will help us to keep
these vivid in our minds and hearts. The
apostle Paul did just that in encouraging
his fellow Christians. He took them,
so to speak, all the way to the close of
Christ’s Thousand Year Reign. Try to
imagine the full significance of Paul’s
words found at 1 Corinthians 15:24, 25,
28.—Read.

What does the WTS consider a fleeting attraction…obviously having a house?
Their marvelous hope is for the destruction of all non-jws, 7 billion plus, men, women and children, all non-jws whether the WTS has warned them or not.
Remember the WTS doctrine taught that we are 37 years into the 1,000 Year Reign.
17, 18. (a) In what way was Jehovah “all things
to everyone” at the outset of human history?
(b) What will Jesus do to restore unity and harmony?
17 There can be no better description
of the grand climax than the words
“that God may be all things to everyone.”
What does that mean? Think
back to the time in Eden when the
perfect humans, Adam and Eve, were
a part of Jehovah’s peaceful and harmonious
universal family. Jehovah,
the Universal Sovereign, ruled directly
over all his creation, angelic and human.
They were able to communicate
with him personally, worship him, and
be blessed by him. He was “all things to
everyone.”
COMMENTS
How many jws know that those who hope to live on earth will not be allowed into that family until the end of the 1,000 Year Reign and they have passed the “final test.” That they are not sons of God.

During the Thousand Year Reign of Christ and his associate king-priests, the great crowd will be joined by untold numbers of resurrected ones. (Revelation 20:12, 13) These will have the opportunity to become permanent earthly subjects of the Messianic King, Christ Jesus. At the end of the Millennial Reign, all these “things on the earth” will be subjected to a final test. Those proving faithful will be adopted as earthly “children of God.”—Ephesians 1:10; Romans 8:21; Revelation 20:7, 8.
18 That harmonious relationship was
interrupted when humans, influenced
by Satan, rebelled against Jehovah’s
sovereignty. Since 1914, however, the
Messianic Kingdom has been taking
progressive steps to restore that unity
and harmony. (Eph. 1:9, 10) During the
Thousand Year Reign, marvelous things
presently “unseen” will be brought to
reality. Then comes “the end,” that is,
the close of Christ’s Millennial Reign.
What will happen then? Though given
“all authority . . . in heaven and on
the earth,” Jesus is not ambitious. He
has no intention of usurping Jehovah’s
place. He humbly “hands over the kingdom
to his God and Father.” He will
use his unique position and authority
“to the glory of God.”—Matt. 28:18; Phil.
2:9-11.
COMMENTS
Since 1914 (but until 1943 it was 1878) that the Messianic Kingdom began.
Does the WTS teach that the Messianic kingdom ends then when Jesus (and the 144,000 corulers) hands over. All humans will be perfect and per the WTS will not need a priest.
19, 20. (a) How will all Kingdom subjects
demonstrate whether they accept Jehovah’s sovereignty?
(b) What grand prospect awaits us?
19 By then, the earthly subjects of the
Kingdom will have been brought to perfection.
They will follow Jesus’ example
and humbly and willingly acknowledge
Jehovah’s sovereignty. They will have
the opportunity to demonstrate their
desire to do that by successfully passing
the final test. (Rev. 20:7-10) Thereafter,
all rebels—human and spirit—will
be eliminated forever. What a joyful and
jubilant time that will be! The entire
universal family will happily praise Jehovah,
who will be “all things to everyone.”—

20 Will the glorious Kingdom realities
just ahead motivate you to focus your
attention and efforts on doing God’s
will? Can you avoid being sidetracked
by the false hope and comfort that Satan’s
world offers? Will you strengthen
your resolve to support and uphold Jehovah’s
sovereignty? May your actions
prove that it is your desire to do so forever.
Then it will be your privilege to enjoy
peace and prosperity for a thousand
years—and beyond!
COMMENTS
Doing God’s will as the WTS interprets it which is obeying their organization no matter what wrong conclusions they have come to and continue to come to. How many will realize that supporting humans cannot be supporting God.
A privilege that comes from flawed human organization, one that says you cannot have a relationship with Jesus or God unless you go through them….(being updated as we speak)

CHANNEL TO UNDERSTANDING THE BIBLE
JESUS assured us that after his death and resurrection, he would raise up a “faithful and discreet slave” that would serve as his channel of communication. (Matthew 24:45-47) The apostle Paul identified this channel to the Ephesian Christians when he wrote that “there might be made known through the congregation the greatly diversified wisdom of God, according to the eternal purpose that he formed in connection with the Christ, Jesus our Lord.” (Ephesians 3:10, 11) It was the congregation of anointed Christians, born at Pentecost 33 C.E., that was entrusted with the “things revealed.” (Deuteronomy 29:29) As a group, anointed Christians serve as the faithful and discreet slave. (Luke 12:42-44) Their appointed assignment from God is to provide spiritual understanding of the “things revealed.”
Even as Bible prophecy pointed forward to the Messiah, it also directs us to the close-knit body of anointed Christian Witnesses that now serve as the faithful and discreet slave. It helps us to understand the Word of God. All who want to understand the Bible should appreciate that the “greatly diversified wisdom of God” can become known only through Jehovah’s channel of communication, the faithful and discreet slave.—John 6:68.
CONCLUDING COMMENTS
So according to the WTS we could have been 37 years into the new system (1,000 Year Reign) and look forward to 1,000 more years of rule by God through the organization.

Translation: If you die before the end, well remember God and Jesus went through the same…not.
Remember that God has no beginning and no end and 1,000 years is like a day to him. That while Jesus may have had a beginning, he has lived for thousands, millions of years, and did not have to wait hundreds of years to be resurrected.
