What,s so weird, when they come to my door I tell

them, I at one time was a JW. Only a few walked away,

in fact maybe two out of the dozens that has come to my door.

In a JW mind I must have been DF, but yet they engage in

conversation, what hall did you attend, do you remerber so and so,

    why did you leave.

Now these same people will treat their ex-Jw family member like

    dirt. Make sense??

The bottom line is that Christ never shunned "sinners". He embraced them. The Apostle Paul however.....

I get a nasty look or they just ignore me. I'm long past caring though.

It depends....some are friendly. Some are not sure you aren't df'd especially if they aren't in your old congregation. Others are cold to us but they were that way when we went to the KH.

The 1st couple of years I stopped going, I would see various Witnesses who didn't know I stopped going. Eventually they all stayed away. (Works for me).

A mixed bag. If eye contact is made I usually get a smile and greeting, however for some, if they can avoid me they will.

I know where they hang in the morning on saturdays,so I do all my errands & shopping early. I take the initiative & avoid contact with them. If someone does approach me Ill take their magazines. I don't blame the rank & file, I'm just so happy not to be there on saturdays. Free as a bird.

Take the rags and burn them like they are demonized.
