OTTY SANCHEZ, JEHOVAH'S WITNESS CANNIBAL MOTHER IN TEXAS
Jehovah's Witness Otty Sanchez (33) was reported as dismembering her 3 1/2-week-old boy, chewing off 3 of his toes, tearing away his face, severing his head severed and ripping out his brains. She then stabbed herself and screamed "the devil made me do it." Even the police used to grisley scenes were disgusted about what happened to her baby boy Scott Wesley Buccholtz-Sanchez. Sanchez was sent to be treated for mental illness at a hospital while held on a $1 million bail. Her husband Scott had moved a week before and after the murder said although he had loved her, the crime is heinous and she needed to be executed. Her sister and her sister's two children, ages 5 and 7, were in the house, but not harmed. DELROY GRANT, LONDON'S “NIGHT STALKER”
SERIAL RAPIST OF ELDERLY WOMEN
Delroy Grant was convicted March 24, 2011, of raping, robbing and degrading elderly south London women (most in their 80s) as well as committing burglaries against them during 1992-2009. Besides attacks on the victims for which he was tried, the other victims may have totaled up to 1000, although some newspapers mention only 200 or 500. During trial Grant had also tried to frame one of his ex-wives, Jane Watson, and a son. The papers have made it clear that he was a Jehovah's Witness while committing many to most of the crimes, do not say he was expelled while on trial, although it is assumed that now that he is convicted he will more likely be disfellowshipped (expelled and shunned) by the Watchtower Society over Jehovah’s Witnesses. Grant is the father of a number of children, a minicab driver from Honor Oak, southeast London.
His so far current wife is still a Jehovah's Witness, is confined due to Multiple Sclerosis to a wheelchair after losing both legs. Her family and Jehovah’s Witness congregation are said to be looking after her. Delroy Grant sometimes went door-to-door with her, using the occasions to look for potential victims.
To their neighbors he had seemed “warm, charming and always friendly.” He enjoyed playing cricket and fishing, liked community barbeques at which he shared jokes and reminisced about his childhood in Jamaica. While in Jamaica he had convictions for handling stolen merchandise, stealing, robbing a post office.
He is known to have married Janet Watson, had a relationship with Jane Finlay, married devout Jehovah's Witness Jennifer Edwards, still be married to Jennifer but prior to arrest was also enjoying a relationship with bank worker Barbara Stocks while staying at her two-bedroom home at least four nights per week. As “the Night Stalker” he carefully cased homes in a wide radius, removed light bulbs, cut phone lines, then woke up terrified frail, elderly women with a gloved hand while shining a torch into their eyes. He then engaged them in conversation and victimized them sometimes for hours.
Police Chief Simon Foy branded Grant a “perverted, callous and violent individual” who attacked some of the most vulnerable people in society. Judge Peter Rook told Grant “You have been convicted of 29 offences of the utmost gravity” and added that he would consider giving the vicious Jehovah’s Witness rapist-burglar of old women an “indeterminate” (life) sentence.
Experts class Grant as a gerontophile, a person who seeks sexual gratification from the elderly. Delroy Grant, the "Night Stalker," was finally sentenced March 25, 2011. He received a "minimum" of 27 years with strong hints that it is likely to be extended for life. It appears likely from the following quotes that when he goes up for review and the faint possible release from prison, he will be trying to capitalize on his being a very "Christian" man, a real "care-giver" type:
