    I wanted to thank you for posting Oompa's video, Muddy. "Well, it's a start."

    ~~~
    Here are the lyrics to the song Oomps is playing:
    Old Crow Medicine Show
    Wagon Wheel lyrics
    Headed down south to the land of the pines
    And I'm thumbin' my way into North Caroline
    Starin' up the road
    Pray to God I see headlights
    I made it down the coast in seventeen hours
    Pickin' me a bouquet of dogwood flowers
    And I'm a hopin' for Raleigh
    I can see my baby tonight
    So rock me mama like a wagon wheel
    Rock me mama anyway you feel
    Hey mama rock me
    Rock me mama like the wind and the rain
    Rock me mama like a south-bound train
    Hey mama rock me
    Runnin' from the cold up in New England
    I was born to be a fiddler in an old-time stringband
    My baby plays the guitar
    I pick a banjo now
    [ Lyrics from: http://www.lyricsmode.com/lyrics/o/old_crow_medicine_show/wagon_wheel.html ]
    Oh, the North country winters keep a gettin' me now
    Lost my money playin' poker so I had to up and leave
    But I ain't a turnin' back
    To livin' that old life no more
    So rock me mama like a wagon wheel
    Rock me mama anyway you feel
    Hey mama rock me
    Rock me mama like the wind and the rain
    Rock me mama like a south-bound train
    Hey mama rock me
    Walkin' to the south out of Roanoke
    I caught a trucker out of Philly
    Had a nice long toke
    But he's a headed west from the Cumberland Gap
    To Johnson City, Tennessee
    And I gotta get a move on before the sun
    I hear my baby callin' my name
    And I know that she's the only one
    And if I die in Raleigh
    At least I will die free
    So rock me mama like a wagon wheel
    Rock me mama anyway you feel
    Hey mama rock me
    Rock me mama like the wind and the rain
    Rock me mama like a south-bound train
    Hey mama rock me
    Nathan, can you stop blitzing all the Oompa threads with comments that are designed to mock, criticize and deride genuine mourners?
    Just because you don't personally approve of the way people may wish to commemorate Eric, this doesn't entitle you to disrespect other people's attempts to honor him in their own way.
    I don't know what your problem is, but I think your attacks are entirely inappropriate on this of all occasions.
    Nathan, I respect many of your posts, but on this issue you are far from "the voice of reason". You are bang out of order.
    If people express sadness for a man committing suicide after struggling with a prolonged period of deep depression, the last thing you should do is question their motives or the manner in which they choose to grieve. Yet this is precisely what you are doing on no less than three threads. What is wrong with you?
    I don't know whether you're drinking or something, or just feeling deprived of attention. However, if I were you I would pipe down, or expect to be barred from posting for a while.
    I'm serious.
    If some of the posts are to be believed, then some people on this forum did know Eric very well. So why do you call it fake grief?
    If you don't like a conversation then don't take part. What is with people who need to try to shut other people up?
    Yeah I lit one.
    Death usually brings self reflection on our own lives, the decisions we have made and possible regrets. That's why some react in bizarre and incomprehensible ways. It's their stuff to sort out not project.
