As for killing yourself its up to you. But it seems you didn't read what I posted on Eric's thread that explained why such is the worst option to choose. Do you understand the timeframe we live in? Do you understand the serious responsibility all of us have for the future of humanity? It seems you don't and like to behave like a small child. It is surprising me because you have really created some nice threads. So please sit down and think about what I posted. Do your research and then we talk again.

I'll take your bait...and argue that this board is pretty much the opposite of the KH.
Yes people get booted from time to time, pretty rare from what I've seen. Funny how the posting guidelines are at the bottom of the box everytime you post, yet they are trampled on like they don't exist. You have to be pretty blatant to get removed. Even then, all you have to do is register again if you really want to participate.
Yeah there is a lot of arguing on the board. I find it refreshing, you can't do that in the KH, or in a straitjacket family like I was raised in. I don't get into those threads much myself, as it seems everyone has pretty much made up their mind and its a huge time sink. But to each their own
In the end, you can participate or you can find something else to do. Thats the great thing about FREEDOM

I didnt pick up on a lenchmob mentality with your thread, just people questioning the timing of that kind of discussion. Give it some time and post it again. Oompa's death wasnt some random tragedy on the news that we're indifferent to, quite rather the opposite. His loss was deeper than hitting too close to home. We lost one of our own. I wish I had of called him and spoke personally to him. He reached out to me one time after I posted something he could relate to and left me his number. Its weird how on here despite not meeting people in person, you can still feel like youve known then your whole life based on the strength of what this religions policies have caused. gonna miss duke, and those crazy eyes on his avatar.

Actually, I don't think the topic should have been removed which is why I locked it with an explanation at the bottom. The subject itself is valid, current and important to be discussed. However, there is a right and a wrong time and a right and a wrong way to start the debate.
Many thought it was the wrong time and poorly phrased (appearing to take the side of the WTS or the opinion that they are blameless) which is why I locked it.
I'm sure the subject will be discussed in the coming months ... just not right now.

As the others have said... your post IS a valid topic. Just too much shock and grief at the moment it was posted, is all. I also enjoy your posts, and I look forward to discussing the point you brought up. I believe it needs to be discussed. Just give people a little bit of time. Please do not take it personally, at all. And if some go a personal route with you over that, then know that there are more people who WANT to have that discussion. They just need some time to mourn, to give Oompa some moments just for him, and perahaps also to catch their breath.
But I am looking forward to that talk, and I (and others) do care about you, as well as about what you have to say. Don't ever think otherwise.
