Which apple do you like the most?

    Golden Delicious is my fave. HoneyCrisp is also good.

    I make stewed apples with Granny Smiths, a little sugar, cinammon.

    I would not give 25 cents for a truckload of Red Delicous. But they are pretty to have in the fruit bowl.

    Golden Delicious. For some reason I don't tolerate red-skinned apples.

    Braeburn and Pink Lady are my favorites. I also like winesap and gala.

    Lots of really old apple trees in this town, planted by the original Italian families who came here to work in the lumber industry. I don't know the names of the varieties, but they are delicious raw, and make wonderful applesauce.

    Red Delicious is the worest fruit out there... I like Granny Smith and Fiji. Granny Smith makes the best juice.

    aren't granny smiths pretty tart? that brings up an interesting qestion i'm kind of ashamed to admit i never wondered...what apples DO they use for juice?

    second in line for me are caramel apples ;)

    Our orchard people say the apples are going to be early, 3 or 4 weeks, so call your suppliers.

    I'm a sour apple woman , crab apples, to be honest. I like to slice them and drench them with cinnamon and turbando sugar..what ever you all ex hippies want to call it.. Eat them with a martini olive fork. While listeneing to Stan Getz, Astrud and Joa Geiberto . "Tall and tan and young and lovely the girl from Imapnema...etc.
