Hi everyone
Today is my first anniversary as a JWN member. It's hard to believe that only a year has passed since I joined, but I feel that's a testament to how much I have been welcomed and made to feel like part of the furniture.
I would very much like to take this opportunity to thank EVERYONE on the forum for the immense help and assistance I have received, particularly in my first few weeks/months of posting. It truly was a lifeline at a very distressing time for me. I received some great advice on how to handle my "awakening" in a way that would be as inconspicuous as possible, which helped enormously.
I've also been overwhelmed by the help and support of various posters with some of the ideas I've had. The willing generosity and selflessness I have witnessed on the part of some posters has been genuinely breathtaking, and quite unexpected. Certainly, if it wasn't for this forum, some great friendships would never have been forged, and some worthwhile projects would never have made it past first base.
I know I have my faults, as we all do. I know I'm not everyone's "cup of tea". If I've offended anyone, I'm sorry. Irrespective of any awkward exchanges, I genuinely appreciate and value this forum and therefore each and every one of you, because it is only with the contribution of ALL members of varying personalities and backgrounds that this forum is what it is. Yes, that even includes Thor worshippers.
