That's so lame. Can you post things to them? I don't know how twitter works.
I should think they will keep quiet until the appeal is heard at least, why make matters worse for themselves when they wish to ingratiate themselves with the Court ?
They know full well that whatever they come out with will be torn to shreds on here and elsewhere, but if they keep their "ammunition dry" until they present the case, they may just fool the Court with whatever obfuscation and lies they plan to present.
@slim- Yes you can direct message (DM) anyone if from your own twitter account. I wonder if they have received and avalanche of direct messages asking about the verdict.
@phizzy - I don't know if an appeal is a lock, so many JWs will start following the case closely if they appeal. I know Mccabe said they would, but I don't think he speaks officially for the position of the WTS. I hear what you are saying, but I would have thought they would come out with a simply "We deny, we are appealing" kind of statement if they had made that decision. No need to say anything other than that.
My personal speculation is that they either 1) can't decide what to do, or 2) are arguing about what to do.
They have to at least drop a line to the elder bodies by Tuesday night, they don't want a bunch of "rank and filers" coming up to unprepared elders asking about the case.
But surely, Noo Lite only turns up at the Wednesday meeting of the GB ? they won't know what to do till then.

I just saw on the silentlambs site in the original press release that 8 victim cases have been filed in California. Do they really think they can weather more verdicts like this one without serious damage?
The official Twitter acounts (assuming they are official) are kind of funny. I think they want some social endorsement of their sites to help them rank in the search engines, but they don't really want to advertise them. All they would have to do is send a letter asking people to follow them and they could have millions of followers in a few days, but I think they are a little embarassed to even be on Twitter.
